Hopefully Mike Richards tears his ACL

...And hopefully Claude Giroux separates his shoulder. And hopefully Chris Pronger breaks his clavicle. And then hopefully the other 8 all-stars the Philadelphia Flyers have somehow manage to get hurt as well. The Maple Leafs recently acquired the Philadelphia Flyers 2011 1st and 3rd round picks for Kris Versteeg. As it stands right now, the picks will be 29th overall and 89th overall respectively. Versteeg was dealt to the Leafs last off-season for Viktor Stalberg, Phillipe Paradis, and Chris Didomenico: In other words, Versteeg was dealt to the Leafs for the equivalent of a bag of pucks. If we're being honest, the best part of this trade is the fact that we'll get Kris Versteeg's cap hit off the records for next season. The Leafs are clearly not making the playoffs, and Versteeg doesn't make this team significantly better. All we can hope is that the Flyers go into a mad tailspin and hopefully drop in the standings/lose in the first round of playoffs. If this happens, maybe we'll be looking at a pick between 20-25. I don't really have much else to say, other then fuck you Brian Burke, this trade deadline is not going to be exciting anymore.

Kris Versteeg missing an almost guaranteed goal from a breakaway. Nothing new there.
