Burke Never Makes Mistakes
Well, this is of little importance to the Toronto Maple Leafs, but the Leafs organization has acquired Aaron Voros from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a 7th round pick. Why? Nobody's really sure. At first, I thought it might be Brian Burke acquiring one of his old draft picks or players since he just loves the shit out of them (See: Mike Brown, Joffrey Lupul, Gardiner, Tim Brent, Beauchemin). So really, Brian Burke just thinks he is fucking perfect and spends his days plotting and scheming as to how he can get all of his previous draft picks back from when he was employed with Vancouver and Anaheim. This guy is such a self absorbed pretentious snob that it hurts. And that's coming from me, who is admittedly pretty high up there on the self absorbed people list. Like, Voros is a career AHLer so I'm glad that Brian Burke is just wasting late round picks on bolstering the Toronto Marlies lineup. You're great bud.
Oh, and how absolutely SMOKING hot is Burkey's wife? Fuck me.

Pavelski, Brouwer, Campoli, Hornqvist, Kostitsyn, Svatos, Oduya, etc. are relatively useful players who were drafted in the 7th.
ReplyDelete1st guy, stats are wrong. 2nd guy, who cares, for the 7 picks that panned out in the past decade, there are 100's that didnt. This was a good deal no matter which way you spin it.
