No Wonder People Rip on Canada
Well, not really sure what to say to this. About half an hour after I talk about how Don Cherry is literally insane, CBC breaks this out. Possibly the most awkward encounter I've ever seen. Ron Maclean wearing a woman's jacket. Don Cherry just fucking smacking shit out of Ron's hand and incessantly calling him a "Rat Jackal". Like, I'm all for patriotism but I'm pretty sure when people see this weekly "I love Canadian Mounties" bit on Coach's Corner all anybody can do is just wonder when in the sweet blue hell we'll stop being subjected to this senile old man. Like, 100 percent, shit like this is the reason Canada gets ridiculed in the states and anywhere else that values any type of normal behaviour.

There are much bigger problems that are worth mentioning than a senseless Don Cherry commercial. What about "Canada" ridiculing the states terrible health care system? If thats not worth mentioning how about the fact that we are living in a consumer driven era, where our consumption and waste are not considered a serious problem by most. Innocent people being manipulated and fed false information in order to carry out a war for profit, think thats worth blogging about? Of course not, because people like "silverado" tend to be more concerned about "Lebron being Lebron" or some other worthless piece of information that does not benefit the life of anyone. Bottom line, this blog is terrible.
ReplyDeleteI think you're thinking too broadly there. You need to get on board with my narrow minded ways if you want to figure out the real ways of the world.
ReplyDeleteConsumerism, health care, propaganda, that's all peanuts when you consider what guys like Tiger Woods, Kobe Bryant, and Tony Parker are up to!
it may be silly, but at least they are trying to TEACH people something, instead of SELL people something.
ReplyDeleteBut do they really have to wear those outfits while doing it? hint: nobody is listening
ReplyDeleteWell, if people wanted to learn about this they'd be off reading Wiebe's short story about Albert Johnson rather than watching these two idiots re-enact the whole charade.
