Today marks the end of a long-ass (almost 23 year) stint with the Utah Jazz for hall of fame coach Jerry Sloan. You've got to hand it to the guy, the Jazz have been a staple of consistency for the past two decades. I mean, apart from running one of the most boring offenses in recent history, the guy has accomplished a shitload. More than that, he's coached a couple of the all-time greats in Stockton and Malone, and even coached that fatass Deron Williams to stardom.
You've gotta wonder though.. probably stings that he has never won the big dance. Like, considering they went to the finals for three straight years and got crushed by the Bulls, you gotta figure the first thing Sloan is doing after the press conference is taking the next flight to Charlotte and kicking MJ square in the balls.
